Om Soccer is a revolutionary Obstacle Skill Development Program that is based from the philosophy that originated with Om Hockey Systems. This philosophy is that both sports are obstacle based in nature. Hockey is bodies, stick, and skates while soccer is legs and feet both flying around at 20-25mph. This is a very unique environment that an athlete has to navigate through. It only makes sense to train these athletes on Obstacle Based Skill Development programs that closely simulate these unique environments. This philosophy has produced revolutionary training systems that rapidly increase game functional skill while being extremely accessible for the average soccer or hockey player.
Om Soccer is the only Obstacle Based Development Program in the world for the sport of soccer. We have had truly stunning results in regard to skill development of our athletes. Om Soccer represents a revolution in the way soccer athletes are trained and will be trained in the future. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to get a huge advantage over your competitors by embracing the future directly via Om Soccer.
om academy
Om Hockey Systems is proud to announce the first Om Academy in Big River First Nation, Saskatchewan. We are currently running both the Om Hockey and Om Soccer development programs through their Elementary and High Schools as part of their gym credit. Over 70 Indigenous athletes are currently enrolled in the Om Hockey Winter Program. This number will reach 135 for 2022-2023 season with an aim of 180 Indigenous hockey players enrolled for 2024. This is the first professional grade hockey skill development program ever implemented into an Indigenous Reserve, effectively turning their schools into an elite sports skill development academy. Due to the sustainable nature of the Om Programs, this Academy will be producing high level athletes of both soccer and hockey for many years to come.
